We came to Prince Albert 10 years ago after scouring the Western Cape looking for the ‘right’ town to live in.  For us, this is the spot :  tranquil but lively, rustic but sophisticated,  casual but caring.  Virtually everyone is proud to be a Prince Alberter – and it shows.

We came here to seek a change from city life – we found it.  By choice we have no TV and no radio.  We have lovely and lively interaction with our customers,  many of whom become firm friends.

We live a simple and special life which we like to share:  beautiful crockery used to serve our meals and drinks with lovely crisp linen napery. Fresh, pure and real is what we offer. Straight from the dairy and our herb and vegetable garden.

Brisk morning walks on the Koppie, hiking in the Swartberg Pass for the more energetic and cycling, either casually around town or hectically on the mountain trails.

Or, simply relax and enjoy our really beautiful garden and pool; our library which is stocked with a large range of interesting reads or browse through our very special antique and vintage shop.

This is what we can offer you – we think it’s really nice.
